Olympic luger Nodar Kumaritashvili is dead.
Nodar Kumaritashvili died after losing control of his sled and crashing on the second of his two training runs in British Columbia. He struck the inside wall of the track before hitting a steel pillar. He was unconscious as a result.Despite CPR, mouth to mouth resucitation he left unconscious. Airlifted to a trauma Center in Whistler, doctors were not able to revive him and he died in the Hospital. He was only 21.
